11 months – where did the time go?

We find it difficult to believe that 11 months has passed since we brought Matteo home. Wow. In just one month, he will celebrate his first birthday.
At this stage in his development, he crawls everywhere. Whether he crawls or cruises along the furniture, he gets around this house with the [...]

Duck

For the last month or so, Matteo has been saying a few recognizable words. His first was, “Dad”, which really sounded like “Da”. At first, we thought he just might be making sounds, but he seemed to say it when we entered the room. Recently, he started saying, “hi” and “bye” as [...]

School days

Well, the walking stick insects did not do the trick today. Sadly, Christopher cried, calling for daddy as I walked away with Matteo. I called a bit later to check, and of course he had eaten a BIG breakfast, and was happily playing.
In the meantime, Matteo and I went to Peet’s for coffee [...]

Currently, we use VIMEO, [...]

Our little eaters

We are quite fortunate. Both boys love to eat. At 8-months, we are beginning to wonder whether Matteo still wants formula. Feeding him a bottle has been quite a chore lately. Could just be teething…how about a biscuit?  Pizza, anyone?

The holiday season is upon us

We ventured out to Concord today.  Our mission:  get new family portraits (see below picture).  The boys did remarkably well, which was surprising since the whole adventure took 2 1/2 hours.  While we waited for the photographer to download our photos, we walked the mall.  Guess who we saw?  Santa.  Christopher got a bit excited. [...]

Is there a downside to being so smart?

Last night, we had dinner with my mom and my nephew, David. Mike took Matteo in one vehicle, while I took the others. We stopped by Blockbuster to get a movie, and then headed my mom’s house. My mom and David exited the car. I put the car into gear, and [...]
