School days

Well, the walking stick insects did not do the trick today. Sadly, Christopher cried, calling for daddy as I walked away with Matteo. I called a bit later to check, and of course he had eaten a BIG breakfast, and was happily playing.

In the meantime, Matteo and I went to Peet’s for coffee – well the coffee was for me, of course – and breakfast. Matteo ate his yogurt, and when finished, stared out the window at the people, cars and rain. As we sat there enjoying our time together, Matteo’s mom, Sara, sent a text to check in with us. I took this photo and sent it to her. Hopefully, we will see her for Matteo’s birthday. Can you believe his birthday is in two months? Wow…

Hi!

I love the picture – it will be nice if she can make it to his birthday party and NO I cannot believe he will be one year old…..Love you all, – G-Dot.

so handsome! I am jealous! I wanna spend the morning with my little one at Peets. :-)

  3. I have to admit that I am pretty lucky. These are great moments…

Missed you guys at the last get together. Perhaps, next time we will get a chance to see you.

I am still in amazement the way adoption is handled today. I think your boys are so cute and that they have great Dad’s who care more about just getting kids and throwing their birthmom’s to the curb.

  5. Thanks, Cristy. We try to include Sara in as much as possible. Sadly, we don’t hear from Christopher’s mom, but we send pictures to her email and to a local address. Someday, maybe…
