Happy New Year’s Eve

Today brings a close to 2009. What a great year this was for us… Let us reflect on some big accomplishments, a few met milestones, and one huge life-changing event. 1. 2009 would not be so special if it were not for the arrival of Matteo, the little boy who added more love and laughter [...]

Our little cruiser

For the first time, Matteo pulled himself up onto the couch and cruised along for about one foot. Yesterday, crawling. Today, cruising. Tomorrow, driving. When will it stop? Take a look at this innocent face. Such a love…

In the meantime, Christopher has taken one or two new bed pals. His favorite has been Misfit the Plane. Today, he added Rudolph to [...]

We are big fans of the Ferber method and the “cry it out” method. We used both methods – starting with Ferber and transitioning to “cry it out” – when training both boys to sleep at night. These methods have been extremely effective. We used them for naps, too. Today was different. Christopher woke up [...]
