Today is a great day.
On this day, two years ago we brought, Christopher, our first son, home. He was 3 1/2 months old. Just when we thought life could not be any better, Matteo was born. Tomorrow, with Matteo’s birth mother, Sara, in attendance, we finalize his adoption. We are excited beyond belief, and cannot wait to share this moment with her.
Congrats guys. Our big day is about 6 weeks away as Sabrina turns 5 months tomorrow. I’m so happy for you!

How did the day go with his birthmother? I would think being at a celebration like that would have been just adding salt to my already wound. I know not everyone is the same, but I was just wondering. I am sure the fact that you have a open adoption makes things a little better though. I love seeing all the cute pictures of your boys.
