I haven’t really updated our potty diary lately. The reality is we are too busy going potty. Christopher pees and poops on the potty every day, though we don’t pee ALL the time on the potty. As for pooping, we have an “accident” every few days. We still wear diapers. One day…
Blog
I finally figured out a short cut for updating our blog software. While I was able to preserve all posts, comments and MOST pics, I lost many of our links to other blogs. If you don’t see yours, send your info.
Our first scraped knees
We were walking in the parking lot after leaving Peet’s when Christopher decided that he wanted to run. As his gait increased to a run, he tripped falling to the ground. Based on the way he fell, I knew we were going to have some abrasions. Sure enough, we have our first scraped knees. We [...]
“Hi, daddy!”
Typically, when we hear this phrase, one of us is coming into the room, returning home or getting Christopher out of his crib. When he says, “Hi, daddy!” it warms our hearts. Today, however, during Christopher’s nap time, while I was at the gym, Mike was catching up on some much needed reading. All the [...]

Going to the dentist
Sometimes going to the dentist, even for adults, can be traumatizing, but not for Christopher. He thoroughly enjoyed it. Take a look at this video. He actually wanted them to suction more. I have to give credit to all the brushing, previous visits to the dentist’s office to get a “lay of the land” – [...]

When we returned from vacation, I was determined to get Matteo sleep trained. Up to this point, every time Matteo rolled from his belly to his back, and/or his pacifier fell out, he cried uncontrollably until we corrected the situation. During our vacaction, his sleep behavior was particularly troubling since we shared a room with [...]

Shame on United Airlines
We boarded our flight this morning at 6:15 a.m. in Philadelphia, but not before they charged us $40 for checking our two bags. Yet, we had to remove a pair of jeans and a pair of shoes from one bag – our bag exceeded the weight limit by 7 lbs. Had we not removed the [...]
A week goes by so quickly
Especially when you are down the Shore with family. It is hard to believe that today is Friday. Though we have one more night, we decided to head out this evening in hopes of avoiding the Saturday traffic. Surprisingly, we are about half way home. This commute is much better than our arrival. All in [...]
